Fire Season   Leave a comment

Yesterday, fire broke out, became a growing, living thing that transformed our lodgepole pine ridge into a boiling mess of gray, black, dirty smoke tinged red with fiery heat. Wings and hearts beat, stressed and repetitive: Leave! Live! All of the humans and their pets and horses were safely evacuated. The rest of Fire’s story never ends so happily . . .
